Welcome to Pinnacle Dental Anesthesia

We help nurture a great dental experience through anesthesia. Dr. Subido will work with your dental provider in order to assure your comfort and safety. At Pinnacle Dental Anesthesia we help treat those who are unable to sit through their dental visits.

Children are often uncooperative with dental care. Some children are frightened because of previous dental visits, while others are plaqued with anxiety. Special needs patients living with medical or behavior problems are not easily seen in the dental setting. Services provided by Dr. Subido allows most patients, who are otherwise left with no other options, to be seen by their dental care provider comfortably and efficiently.

Children who transition into adulthood can continue to be anxious and are not able to tolerate dentistry. Those who suffer from severe gagging and uncontrolled tremors can become hard to treat in the dental setting. Adults with disabilities and health problems can often benefit from anesthesia services while at their dental appointment. Patients treated with sedation or general anesthesia can benefit from the reduced stress and pain. Through monitoring and appropriate levels of sedation, our anesthesia team can help improve your dental experience.

Is anesthesia safe?
Anesthesia is administered by Dr. Subido who is licensed specifically in the field of dental anesthesia, Dr. Subido trained in a formal anesthesia residency, possesses the clinical skills, uses modern equipment, and monitors your vital signs (pulse, breathing, blood pressure, oxygen level, temperature, and heart rhythm) in order to assure that you are safe throughout your procedure.

Why is anesthesia important?
Anesthesia is important because it eliminates pain and anxiety during your procedure. It allows your dentist to perform complicated procedures, reduce physical shock, and emotional stress.

Is general anesthesia covered by my insurance?
All insurance benefit plans are different. It all depends on your plan. Some plans require a tooth to be removed before anesthesia is covered. There are many variations in plans, we advise calling your insurance carrier for a pre approval or more detailed information. Some information that you should collect from your insurance company should include: Yearly maximums and Coverage for general anesthesia. Due to privacy legislation, we are limited in the information that we can gather regarding your coverage. We are, however, here to help you in the process as much as we can.

"I can’t begin to tell you how wonderful it was to work with Dr. Subido and his staff. He truly cares about his patient and it shows in every way, from the many phone calls before and after to check on my daughter, to walking us to the car to make sure we were ok.
