"My son had to be put under anesthesia and I was nervous until I met Dr. Subido. Not only did he educate me and my husband about the anesthesia process, but my son (4 years old) absolutely loved him! During recovery Dr. Subido sat with us until my child was fully awake and ready to get in the car. His awesome team walked us out to the car to make sure we were safe. Dr. Subido does not get enough credit for the work he does. He seems to deal with parents and children in a high anxiety environment. Dr. Subido was able to calm my child and the concerns I had as a parent. He is a true talent! I will forever be grateful for my son's first experience with anesthesia! "I can’t begin to tell you how wonderful it was to work with Dr. Subido and his staff. He was able to take a horrible, anxiety ridden experience and turn it into a pleasant one- and that’s saying a lot. Let me explain: my 3 yr old needed extensive dental surgery and if that’s not bad enough she needed to go under general anesthesia. Dr. Subido took the time to walk me thru the entire procedure, answer my barrage of questions, as an RN I had a lot and he calmed my fears. He is highly educated, has the top of the line equipment, plans ahead for even the most remote problems, allows for collaboration with the parents to plan for the easiest induction and is all around an amazing anesthesiologist. He explains in terms everyone can understand while elaborating on the details if requested- I requested everything. As a nervous mother and a nurse, which is a bad combo, I was not the easiest of parents and he was professional, knowledgeable and dedicated to provide the best of care. He truly cares about his patient and it shows in every way, from the many phone calls before and after to check on my daughter, to walking us to the car to make sure we were ok. If you need an anesthesiologist- this is it. Look no further, he is amazing!
